And they come, answering that eternal question: What if Gay Dad had come from Sweden? Well, they might sound like this. 

Slinky. Sleek. Poppy. Bouncy. Infectious. Big choruses. The sound of Beck meets Semisonic, but like, good. Chunky riffmungous - yet sparse -  guitars. Bubbly synths. Chords that rock. Oh yes, big chords. Big time, big guitars, Big Chorus.  

It doesn't sound like anything else I've heard All year, except , as I say, the quite underrated and criminally maligned Gay Dad album that I stuck on six months ago. Which isnt to say that this bunch are an overhyped bunch of ex-journo's, but actually bloody good instead. 

Look over the top 10, there's nothing as good as this in it. It's a fact. God, this rocks like a herd of escaped elephants. Just imagine how good it could be.
