For Those About to Rock.. Welcome to Church Of Rock N' Roll. With The Best Rock N Roll Band in the world. And don't ever doubt it.

He rushes on stage, guitar in hand and wearing a grey school uniform and satchel - a flurry of blurred energy. His two legs stomp up and down in perfect time, uncontained like some rock n roll perpetual motion machine. The riffs come out the speakers, the devil in his fingers, loud, sharp and precise. In perfect rhythm and time. His name is Angus Young, and tonight he's gonna rock you. All night long. The riff machine begins, and doesn't stop for two hours of high voltage rock n' roll. With guitar solos, dirty women, video screens, and a very large Rock N' Roll Train. Seriously.

From the opening video intro - where cartoon versions of the band hijack a train and run it off the tracks with Rock N Roll - the pyro starts and the Rock N Roll Train crashes through the video screen. The riffs begin, bigger and louder than hell, and the rock n roll don't stop for two hours.

AC/DC are like the Monolith in 2001. Seriously, they are. Before AC/DC existed, they existed. They are the most distilled, perfect form of rock n roll.. AC/DC are the best at what they do, and don't ever doubt it.

You know all the songs they play tonight - and even if you don't, you do by the end of the first chorus. With a set of songs spanning three and half decades of classics, its clear that the vast majoriuty ot their stone cold classic, best material is almost three decades old. Tonight, 13 songs date no later than 1981. There's only one song between 1981 and 2008, and five from the new album "Black Ice". Whilst the newer songs don't always stand tall - "Anything Goes" is fine on the record, but pales in comparison live, and "Black Ice" is fairly forgettable - they do stand proud. And pretty much everything else is spot on, rock n roll classics.

What you see with AC/DC is what you get. You wouldn't have it any other way. They do what they do, and thats what they do. Simple. Precise. Straight forward. No Frills. No Bull. They get on stage and rock n' roll. They are, quite frankly, the best rock n roll band in the world. The Rhythm section is the tightest I've ever seen, keeping time like a metronome. Solid. precise. Unwavering. Unchanging.

Guitarist Malcolm Young stays stage right, and plays the tightest rock n roll guitar you'll ever hear. Brian Johnson sound suncannily like Donald Duck in places, and dresses like Andy Capp. But At the same time, he';s just what this band needs. And Angus Young swirls around the stage like a whirling dervish, a blur of nervious energy and rock N roll. And the riffs are bigger than the stadium itself. There's fifty thousands fingers, all playing air guitar. Fifty thousand voices, all screaming out every word loud.

Íf you've ever seen an AC/DC concert on video, then thats exactly what you get. Its exactly the same, but only the songs have changed. Sure its predictable...but you know, when you order a beer, you want a beer, not a latte. You'd complain if it was any other way. Its stunning, its awesome. Its a Rock N Roll Machine.

From Angus Young's extended 12 minute guitar frenzy in "Let There Be Rock" - recycling the same riffs since 1979 - to the inflatable fifty foot high woman straddling the Rock N Roll Train in "Whole Lotta Rosie", from the singalong in "The Jack" to the chanting of "TNT", from the firing cannons in unison in "For Those About To Rock" to singer Brian Johnson taking a running jump swinging around a bell for "Hells Bells", its just what it says on the tin.

Its everything you've ever wanted to get an AC/DC concert, and more. And the only quibble is, they've so many classic songs they could never play them all even if they were on stage for three times this length. The songs they don't play tonight is a back catalog so strong most bands would sell their souls at the crossroads like Robert Johnson for - "Live Wire", "High Voltage", "Rocker", "Jailbreak", "Bad Boy Boogie", "Problem Child", "Sin City", "Girls Got Rhythm","Heatseeker".....

Íf you never get the chance to see AC/DC, I pity you. If you get the chance, don't hesitate. Just do it. AC/DC are the best Rock N Roll band in the world. No question.
